Responsible for all operations of Loretto's Sedgwick Heights Adult Care Facility. In this position you will lead a team of professionals to deliver exceptional care, quality and financial results. The Administrator oversees the facility to ensure Loretto standards are met and in compliance with all regulatory agencies. The Administrator maintains culture of caring and inclusiveness for all staff, residents and families. Please see job description for full details.

  • Bachelor's degree in gerontology or business management with 5-8 years qualifying experience. Or master's degree with 4 years qualifying experience with elder population.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a management role.
  • Knowledge of NYS Department of Health and relevant governmental regulations.
  • Union experience helpful.
  • Ability to lead, guide and motivate staff and colleagues.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Results oriented, strong attention to detail and follow up, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborates with management and supervisory staff to manage and optimize operations and resident care and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Maintains occupancy targets, monitoring daily census and taking corrective action as required.
  • Monitors and manages occupancy turnover, ensuring vacant rooms/apartments are prepared and ready for new residents.
  • In conjunction with Admissions, verifies all required paperwork is complete and accurate for new resident move-in.
  • Oversees or manages provisions to market the facility appropriately, including tours, family meetings and outreach initiatives.
  • Reviews monthly financial statements, bi-weekly payroll reports, target reports, and accounts payable/receivable aging reports, taking corrective action as required.
  • Participates on internal or external committees appropriate to the facility.
  • Leads, monitors and actively participates in Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
