Andrew Katko is a graduate in the SUNY Cortland class of 2020, and he is also a Recreational Therapy intern at The Nottingham in Jamesville. Because he couldn’t have a graduation ceremony this year, The Nottingham is surprising him with a graduation today!

About Andrew:

Andrew has worked across all of The Nottingham’s continuum of care, but has mostly focused on the Assisted Living Program. He has been a strong team member, adapting to constant change and providing creative group and individual programs.  He has established relationships with many residents and staff, who have all come to rely on him.

Andrew plans to take his National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification exam for Therapeutic Recreation Specialist in the coming months. He also has experience with working as a Camp Leader with ARISE, a Facilities Manager with SUNY Cortland and a volunteer with the Cortland Stars Special Olympics. Team members say he is kind and compassionate with a passion for being active.
